I ordered Col Richmond with the First Va to Elizabethtown he arrived there today at four (4) o'clock pm. I have not withdrawn all the force from Tucker county. Capt Snider will remain there until further orders. Do not suffer yourself to be annoyed or troubled by old Dr. Parsons. I have learned better.
