The officers (field) chosen by the Captains & Lieutenants of the third regiment was elected or recommended by the officers present as fellows for colonel & Lieut. Col was unanimous Major Sweringen read all but three votes present which was cast for J G Foly. The vote J Q Lamb second major [page 2] was unanimous the only dissatisfaction is in Capt Halls Company who are not altogether satisfied with the majors who are here recommended D T.
